@SalsaTekila@hamillaaron That'd how people get injured, flat speed kills. uphill sprints where forces are lower is where you get strong af + nerve adaptations. That pure speed 20s reps are the norm even for ultra athletes (especially), the adaptations translate to slower speeds & injury prevention

@SalsaTekila After 3 weeks of uphill speed work 2x per week, u come to the flat and will be ok, if you dont go all out. Also, soft tissue gets the strongest from those back squats with close to body weight on barbell
@SalsaTekila Sprinting on the flat compared to uphill increases forces and risk. But studies show you can only have strong soft tissue from only from 5-6 times per week, 3-4 times isnt enough. 10- 15 mins of stimulus is plenty enough, gains plateau at about 15-30 mins
