We're through eight rounds of our @rotoworld_bb mock draft. We've seen some draft day falls for guys like Hunter Brown and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and some big moves up the board for Kade Anderson, Henry Bolte, and more. Check it out.

Dodgers' Dalton Rushing is undergoing right elbow surgery today, per sources. It's expected to be a hybrid internal brace procedure. The expected timeline to return to catching full time is 9 months, with a return to hitting well before then.
Overall, I love the improvements Miguel Vargas made this year BUT a lot of his Statcast data took a step back in the second half.
1st half: 90.6 AVG EV, 15% barrel rate, .275 xBA, .544 xSLG, .401 xwOBA
2nd half: 89.3 AVG EV, 9.5% barrel rate, .248 xBA, .429 xSLG, .346 xwOBA
Coming up in about an hour, we have our first 2026 position recap... catcher! We'll look back at preseason ADP, break down the Top-12 finishers, way too early 2027 rankings and more w/ @CBSScottWhite@CPTowers

Last night we drafted the first two rounds for 2027. Here's what we came up with:
𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗
Shohei Ohtani
Pete Crow-Armstrong
Bobby Witt Jr.
Aaron Judge
Elly De La Cruz
Juan Soto
Yordan Alvarez
Fernando Tatis
Junior Caminero
James Wood
Misiorowski
Jackson Chourio
Shohei Ohtani said it is “hard to tell” if he’ll need either knee or bicep surgery this offseason. He also said he plans to pitch again next season. #Dodgers
@RobSilver I think it's pretty subjective. I also think there will be less consensus in the first two rounds of 2027 after it was such a let down in 2026. I think Skubal could pretty easily be a first-round pick as well. I'm sure high stakes leagues will push maybe 2-3 others in 15-teamers.
Julio Rodriguez went on the IL with a concussion in early July. That could've affected his second half:
.230 with 8 HR, .655 OPS
Second half OPS in each of his first 4 years: .937, .941, .818, .900
Here were some interesting stats I noticed when deep diving players for the first two rounds:
Fernando Tatis Jr. didn't hit his first HR until May 30. From that point forward:
.299 with 25 HR, 24 SB, .914 OPS, 8% BB, 17% K, 94.4 AVG EV, 14% barrel rate, .305 xBA, .552 xSLG
Corbin Carroll had a down season but played through a back injury and was unlucky in some areas.
Hit just .208 with a .727 OPS vs. RHP (career .251 with an .837 OPS).... 311 wOBA vs. RHP, .335 xwOBA
In the 2nd half he hit just .219 but his xBA was .248 and AVG EV was 92.3 MPH
