With elite defense and playmaking with double big lineups and an injured Wade and Bosh in some of these runs
@Koolaidcooling@RK_DRAFT You still couldn’t just park a help defender in the lane shading everyone tho. So even though there was no defensive 3-second, defenders also couldn’t freely roam the paint cause of illegal defense.
In a new interview Takashi Shimada the writer of "Kinnikuman", half of manga duo Yudetamago, revealed the reason the series originally ended.
Coming off of a back injury, Shimada became discouraged by the success of "Dragonball" by Akira Toriyama. At the time, DB began incorporating elements of Kinnikuman like tournaments & saw newfound popularity. Shimada decided to end the series, with the mentality of if he wasn't number one he wasn't a mangaka.
Eventually, after their subsequent series weren't a success & Dragonball remained popular, they decided to leave Shonen Jump. Fan pressure was the ultimate deciding factor, in their exit.
Shimada was so emotional when Kinnikuman II (Ultimate Muscle) became a success in a separate magazine, that he began to cry. He realized the fans didn't abandon them.

Shit probably sounds smart to stupid people
@drewb00gi3@cyber_yurei@uwuadi2112@TheDarkEnjoyer This was not a social media thing tho. After Kissanime went down, people just migrated to other anime piracy sites because the demand was still there. This is a demand issue not a visibility/awareness issue. It's just how piracy works.
