@savsays Doesn't make sense. All he'd need to say was "I have control". That's understood globally. Flying pilot relinquishes control. Other pilot takes control. I've been flying the better part of 45 years, 39+ in multi-crew cockpits

@kathy_mehal I think you're correct. Banks always publish when they are gonna be offline, whether it's a "working day" or not. I'm nowhere near an expert in any of this, but these guys are masters of spin, suggesting that scheduled maintenance portends something more earthshaking.
