I guess the coins I like the most going into the new cycle are these:
1. $HYPE (perps, L1)
2. $TAO (AI, L1)
3. $NEAR (AI, L1, privacy)
4. $LIT (perps, the best bet on perps after HYPE)
5. $PUMP (memecoins, speculation)
6. $ZEC (L1, privacy)
7. $MON (new L1)
8. $MEGA (new L2)
New coins good, old coins bad. HYPE, LIT, PUMP, MON, MEGA has never been in a bull. Well, you could argue HYPE launched at the tail of the bull, but not a full cycle. TAO and NEAR are clear tokens in the AI narrative. ZEC is the "VC-privacy coin".
But tokens are not stocks, they have no value. Yes, and no. I think this is one of the hardest "dilemmas" of the new cycle. Betting on tokens in 2023 felt like a no-brainer. We all had hopes that our coins would make a comeback at some point. Now, in 2026, with an infinite number of tokens, it's harder than ever to pick something. There is a huge difference between a good product and a good token, and since most tokens are governance tokens, do we really need them? Maybe not, but it remains the main vehicle for speculation.
What about BTC, SOL, ETH? BTC should always be a part of a core portfolio, maybe SOL and ETH also, but I think the ones above will outperform compared to them.
Anyway, my gut feeling says that there will be something else that takes the spotlight, and that "the new thing" will outperform all of the 8 I listed. These are my thoughts today. Next week or next month I could already have changed my mind, so NFA and do your own research.
Where you live matters a lot for your hapiness. When you get to choose between a high paying job where nothing happens vs. a lower paying job, but with the right network, you should always choose the latter. At least if you're young.
The network compound effect can make you see opportunities you didn't knew were even possible. IMO you should choose a big city, because this is where the most talented and high IQ people go. Also, some cities amplify your energy, while others drain it.
While the internet has changed the need for cities for work a bit, I still think they're really important for the social aspect outside of work.
It's funny because when you are in your early 20s, all of your friends are on the same path, and quite equally in terms of career outlook, money, health, etc.
But in your 30s, you see the rewards for those who actually worked out in the gym regularly, dared to go a different road in terms of a career (entrepreneurship, crypto, stocks++), or studied something they actually cared about.
The worst thing you see is people that hates their life, stuck in a job that gives them nothing, married to the wrong girl, and coping by drinking a lot on the weekends.
You can always change your path, though, but very few do. As if they just accept their faith.

Moving out of my house and heading for Switzerland this weekend.
Could this be my new home? Idk yet, but doing it as a research trip to get a feel for the vibes over there.
Euromaxxing summer.
Arcium is the most-used confidential compute network in crypto, with over 1.6M confidential computations and 6M transactions on Solana.
$ARX should do well this cycle.
solana pretty quickly accelerating on all parts of the stack
already the fastest & cheapest blockchain + home to most retail onchain activity while solana eco teams keep shipping aggressively
believe privacy will continue to be popular narra
Both Canada and Switzerland have 4 points in group B. They're playing each other in the final game, and both will be happy with a draw, as this means they both will advance to the next round. However, the group winner will most likely meet an easier opponent (at least in theory).
Anyway, trying Switzerland as the group winner to 40c at Polymarket. Feels like quite an open game where anything could happen (even though Switzerland is the better team). Canada has a more favorable goal difference, which means Switzerland has to win in order for this bet to win.
