@InTheBalls147 Unfortunately I’ve been saying this since 2024. He’s had two years of fairly average play by his standards. Getting to two finals was impressive but ultimately he lost. We’ve had some fireworks such as the 153 but I don’t think he has the game to win comps anymore. Let’s see.

Atkinson and Smith have shown today what could have been done. If you’re trying to defend last night then I’m afraid you’re lost.

@slimmatt1 @AdamSants_ Well unfortunately it didn’t and hasn’t done now for some time. Even at the height of baz ball, they still looked to score off singles/twos. Today was just utterly brainless from ball one.

They have been beaten in the last 2 series by teams playing proper test match cricket.

@slimmatt1 @AdamSants_ What they should be thinking about is the paying customer. Having been given yet another masterclass in test match batting, they provided a farcical performance. Completely arrogant and a slap in the face to public. Something Stokes isn’t innocent of either.
