In actual fact the founding fathers were adamant that church and state were separate for a good reason. Hence the 1st amendment

@FrancisCharter1 @ThatTimWalker Some would judge, indeed. There judgements however would only be opinion. And in this case there opinion would be wrong. Canon law, does not allow for de-baptising. Once a catholic, then always a catholic. Even one who is excommunicated is still a catholic
