@ABPMarathon@dailyecho@SouthamptonCC Oh blimey, that's awful. Probably best not to leave them unattended next year - also flags up an issue of local ASB issues
Woolston at 4.30pm today in the wake of the @ABPMarathon No sign of anyone clearing up after the event and litter now spread far and wide - total disrespect for the local community @dailyecho@SouthamptonCC
@ABPMarathon Yep, the woolston side of itchen bridge. If it could be cleared up that'd be great. Some people now using unopened pouches as makeshift waterbombs
@dailyecho Shame about the mess left behind - this was 4.30pm in the afternoon. No sign of any clean up crews and the plastic water pouches now being scattered far and wide. The organisers need to pay more respect to communities.

@SwissRamble I remember my club Southampton going down not long after moving to St. Mary's. Irony was after moving from the Dell thinking it was a new dawn for the club!
@SwissRamble Wonder what the statistics are when it comes to relegation within 5 seasons of completing a new stadium. Seem to remember a few clubs in the 90s and 00s stadia boom falling foul.
@CommDevtPodcast Sounds like the hub model which has been all the rage here for a few years. I think in our case though a driver is cut backs and the desire to cram more things in less buildings. When it's led by a genuine desire to improve services and provide a community space it works.
@emmmzyne So many things, but at work I've found myself talking about 'floor ceiling analysis ' a few times - something I picked up from Limited Resources, which is really applicable in many situations.
@cooke_martyn@Playing_Pasts In the early days there does seem to have been a degree of fluidity and I'm sure at least a few clubs origin stories are messier than the accepted accounts would have us believe.
@TheFootballPink In the 90s hated Cantona. Felt he was the arrogant figurehead of the glory-hunters team of choice... These days he's 1 of my fave players of the era, a real character who was 1 of a kind
@SouthamptonFC And, if I remember right, virtually knocked himself out by colliding with the post in the process of scoring one goal at the Dell - that's bravery for you!
@lucyhighnett I've said all along that that is the boards strategy - the thing is they're probably right & there will be at least 3 teams worse than us!
