New Chancellor: John Healey. Cambridge University background, half a decade in Gordon Brown's Treasury working on Labour's regeneration agenda. I've evaluated a couple of those programmes. Results were modest but positive. I assumed the Chancellor would be a Oxford graduate, happily surprised.
