99.99% IMPOSSIBLE: THE SAILBOAT STORY THAT CANNOT BE NORD STREAM

Filmmaker Moritz Enders, director of the documentary "Nord Stream Die Sprengung", sat down on Gegen den Strom and tore into the official Andromeda account. A few Ukrainians sail out of Rostock, clip a peg on their noses, dive eighty meters with hundreds of kilos of explosives, and blow the most important piece of German energy infrastructure since 1945. That is the story we are told to swallow. Enders’ question is simpler: how stupid do they think we are?

THE STORY WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE
➡️ A charter yacht leaves Rostock, crosses another border with special underwater charges, gets flashed on Rügen, plants a Ukrainian flag, and parks over the pipes.
➡️ The crew then completes four professional dives in the dark, in the cold, against current, at one of the deepest points in the Baltic.
➡️ German prosecutors still treat this amateur-sailboat plot as the working explanation.

WHY ENDERS SAYS THE MATH BREAKS
➡️ “Every detail by itself is almost impossible. Combined, it is probably 99.99 percent impossible.”
➡️ Eighty meters is not aqua-aerobics. You need decompression stops or a chamber. Bottles empty fast. Currents eat the rest.
➡️ A military journalist told him the job needed at least ten hours. A drifting sailboat cannot hold station. A proper anchor chain at that depth would run about 240 meters. Kill the transponder and a yacht lingering exactly over the pipeline still looks wrong.

THE CLUES THAT DO NOT FIT A SECRET CREW
➡️ They took the long way. Kołobrzeg in Poland sits far closer to the blast sites than Rostock.
➡️ Investigators later found explosives on the kitchen table.
➡️ The yacht went back to its owners in days. A real forensic sweep would take weeks. Sweden recovered material and locked it away. If the match were clean, he asks, why not publish it?

THE MILITARY READ
➡️ After the film he spoke with military journalists and people around the Bundeswehr. Their shared conclusion: this was a planned commando operation, prepared in peace, not a drinking trip with a nose clip.
➡️ He takes Seymour Hersh’s account seriously: BALTOPS in June 2022 as cover, charges placed by professionals, later ignition discussed as a sonar buoy from a Poseidon P-8 flying with its transponder off.
➡️ Other officers told him remote acoustic ignition is too failure-prone. They would plant timed charges from underwater demolition teams, mini-subs, or robots — gear that also solves the decompression problem Germany, he was told, does not even have at that depth.

WHO COULD — AND WHO WANTED TO
➡️ Once you accept a military operation, Enders says the live question is no longer the nose clip. It is who had the capability and who had the interest.
➡️ Hersh and former CIA analyst Ray McGovern, whom he interviewed, point to a tight National Security Council circle: Jake Sullivan as the driver, Antony Blinken and Joe Biden signing off, combat swimmers trained in Florida, possible Norwegian deep-water help from the oil patch.
➡️ He does not claim every Hersh detail is locked. He does claim the official yacht story is too thin to carry the heaviest attack on German infrastructure in eight decades.

THE PHOTO THAT WILL NOT AGE WELL
➡️ On the eve of the Ukraine war, Biden stood next to Olaf Scholz and said that if Russia invaded, there would be no Nord Stream.
➡️ Scholz smiled in English about always pulling together with America’s friends. Enders calls the scene a tragedy of sovereignty: the economic foundation of German industry being announced dead while the chancellor stands there like a pregnant squirrel.
➡️ Did Scholz know, cover, or help shade the aftermath? Enders will not pretend to know. He will say German authorities show almost no will to find out. Sweden, Denmark, and Germany, investigative journalist Dirk Pohlmann says in the film, already know enough to know they do not want to know more.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Enders is not asking the public to convict a country from a cinema seat. He is asking why the only story on offer requires four impossible dives, kitchen-table explosives, and a yacht returned before the lab work was done — while the states that could settle it look away. The blast was real. The cover story, on his evidence, is not.
