Students at WSU have been crying their homes aren't enabling environments for them to thrive academically and the university has been postponing the return of 33% unjustifiably so. While Unis with white majority are already in the 3nd semester.

According to our very recent timetable. Exams should commence in September but we are behind in terms of the work done and they'll only allow the 1st cohort on the 2nd of September. Does that even make sense!? #SaveWsuAcademicYear

We cannot stress enough that our homes are not conducive for learning. @DrBladeNzimande we live in rural areas and connectivity is a real problem incase you didn't know. We are drowning, please intervene because our arrogant VC doesn't want to listen. #SaveWsuAcademicYear

While other universities have already allowed the first cohort back. Yes we come from poor backgrounds we live in one room house which makes it inconcievable for us to thrive with academics. Allowing us back to res would enable us since we are struggling with even connectivity.
