Let me calm you down: the EU Parliament resolution does not condemn the UPA. It does not even condemn the naming of the unit after UPA Heroes. Let me go into boring details.
1) The EP-adopted "Ukraine 2025 report" has 47 pages. It goes from energy to rule of law and from military cooperation to regional ties;
2) It addresses a lot of issues, for example it urges the German goverment to deliver Taurus to Ukriane (paragraph 14);
3) In paragraph 34, yes, it "regrets" (not "condemns"!) decision of Zelensky to name the unit after UPA heroes, and "regrets" (not "condemns"!) his "disregard for Polish sensitiveness";
4) To understand the scale: in paragraph 88, it "condemns" detention of Oschadbank employees by Hungarian authorities. Yes, the report goes into such details;
5) Overall, the report is very positive towards Ukraine, it "welcomes Ukraine's advances in judiciary reform and the fight against corruption" (paragraph 49); "Strongly welcomes Ukraine’s continued dedication to meeting EU membership requirements" (paragraph 27); "welcomes progress made by the specialised anti-corruption agencies" (paragraph 56), says that "Ukraine has demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination in its path towards EU membership – a choice that reflects the enduring will of the Ukrainian people, despite the ongoing Russian war of aggression" (K), etc.
6) The UPA story does not even mentioned in the part dedicated to regional cooperation (XI), where the Report "welcomes the resolution of the dispute between Ukraine and Hungary (and Slovakia)" (paragraph 86), or "underlines the obligation of all Member States, not only the Hungarian and Slovak Governments, to phase out dependencies on Russian energy supplies and infrastructure" (paragraph 87).

That is why over 70% of the MEPs voted for the Report - because they did not care about the paragraph 34, and the named paragraph was formulated very lightly. Overall, the report is extremely postively formulated for Ukraine. It is only sensation-oriented unserious sources who focus on the very unfortunate Poland-lobbied lines in a huge text.
