Hey @HassanAliJoho you were very clear that Ruto was the most corrupt person in Kenya and a thief, at what point did you realize he is a man of equality?
In 2022, Ruto was using terms like “in six months,” “in the next 100 days,” “Nikiweka Biblia chini,” and so on. However, amejua that with such timelines, we can keep him accountable.
Now he has launched Vision 2060, so that he can always say everything is “in progress.” 😂
By 2060, who will still be around to ask him where the promises went?
There are tourists who arrived at JKIA during the week, then a Kenya Airports Authority official literally stole their dollars, and when the police came, they hugged the "thief", made jokes, and left telling the tourists to go and report to a police station... This was their first trip to Kenya...
"Mnacancel watu because they support Ruto? Mnacancel watu because of a political disagreement?"
When Ruto disagrees with us politically he kills us. Man, what the fuck are we even talking about?
You can’t convince me that Omwami Sifuna will now uphold integrity after being supported to get in office by people who lack it. We all know politics is a game of interests.
In the interest of understanding who has been on the ground in Kilifi county. Ave been forwarded this video an upcoming gubernatorial aspirant Jackson Karisa Fagio from Kilifi County who has been talking and spreading the Linda Mwananchi gospel.
As we condemn and call out Aisha Jumwa. Swali ni? Are we ready to support, amplify and stand with new blood?
Wacha tuone how many will retweet.
Almost every Kenyan now knows a relative, friend or former colleague who once lived comfortably, paid bills without begging and supported others, but has now been reduced to borrowing for food, rent and school fees.
Where exactly is this “investor confidence” Ruto keeps talking about when ordinary businesses are dying, incomes are collapsing and formerly stable families are becoming desperate?
The only people enjoying this economy are Ruto, his friends and those feeding from government deals. Everyone else is being told to celebrate figures that have no relationship with the suffering on the ground.
Ruto is not just one person. Ruto is a system.
Aisha Jumwa is part of that system. Millicent Omanga is part of that system. When we took to the streets in 2024, they stood with those who oppressed us, not with the people.
That is why I cannot, in good conscience, associate myself with them. When we say "WANTAM," we mean more than changing one individual,we mean draining the swamp. The people who helped create and sustain the problems cannot suddenly become the face of the solution.
Whether they shout "WANTAM" or "TUTAM" makes no difference to me. Their record speaks louder than their slogans.
I also urge young people to be careful about the movements they join. If a movement embraces the very people who stood against citizens during our struggle, then we must ask ourselves whether it truly represents change.
Just as a small amount of urine can contaminate an entire tank of clean water, a few individuals who embody the old system can compromise the integrity of an entire movement.
Some people went into the wild and found a baby snake , they brought it home and started feeding it . When the snake got big it started eating our goats and even developed an appetite for our children. The whole neighborhood came together to chase the snake away imagine our surprise when we got to their house and some of the people that were feeding it jumped out of the windows and joined us .
When we finish taking this snake back into the forest we should not forget this snake feeders they are just as dangerous as the snake.
In Kenya Kwisha government!
Ruto is the President, Deputy President, CS in every Ministry, Chairman of every parastatal, CEO of every parastatal, Ambassador to every foreign mission!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Day 3 of appealing for footbridge along Waiyaki Way
@ntsa_kenya@KeNHAKenya
People living a long Waiyaki Way deserve better from their Government, the road is poorly lit, its becoming an angel of death for the people who have to cross to the other side to do their business
Former National Treasury CS, Prof. Njuguna Ndung'u, says whereas institutions in Kenya have the capacity to do the right thing, "the current President overruns all the institutions and that is why everybody in those institutions will have to conform, for fear"
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SPEAK FOR DR. KIZZA BESIGYE WHILE HE IS STILL ALIVE.
Yesterday, Dr. Kizza Besigye collapsed in court.
Think about that for a moment.
A 70-year-old man who has spent more than a year in detention collapsed before the very system that is keeping him behind bars.
He was carried away in an ambulance, and the world watched.
And I keep asking myself:
What exactly are we waiting for?
Are we waiting for Besigye to die?
Are we waiting for his coffin to be brought out of prison?
Are we waiting for African presidents to suddenly discover that he was a hero?
Are we waiting for foreign dignitaries to fly into Kampala, stand beside his body and deliver beautiful speeches about democracy?
Because that is what Africa has become painfully good at.
We mourn the dead with extraordinary courage while abandoning the living with extraordinary silence.
Where are the African leaders?
Where are the opposition parties?
Where are the human-rights organisations?
Where are the churches?
Where are the lawyers?
Where are the people who claim to believe in democracy?
Where are the people who will tweet #RIPBesigye after his death but cannot tweet #FreeBesigye while he is alive?
Dr. Besigye has spent years challenging power through politics.
He has contested elections, endured arrests and persecution, and remained one of Uganda's most prominent opposition figures.
Then came Nairobi.
He disappeared in Kenya in November 2024 and was subsequently produced in Uganda, where he was charged and detained.
His lawyers and supporters have consistently challenged the circumstances of his removal and detention.
Now his health is deteriorating.
And yesterday, his body itself sounded the alarm.
How many more alarms do we need?
How many more hospital visits?
How many more court appearances?
How many more rejected bail applications?
How much more suffering before Africa decides that a human life is more important than political power?
Let us stop waiting for the funeral.
Speak now.
Speak while Besigye can still hear you.
Speak while his family can still hold him.
Speak while his lawyers can still fight for him.
Speak while there is still a living man behind that prison wall.
Because one day, if Besigye dies in detention, there will be no shortage of people lining up to call him a freedom fighter.
They will write books about his courage.
They will name streets after him.
They will give speeches about his sacrifice.
They will tell us how much they admired him.
But Besigye does not need our admiration from a podium after death.
He needs our courage today.
Africa, this is not the time to be polite.
This is not the time to look away.
This is not the time to wait for permission to speak.
A political prisoner is not a political inconvenience. He is a human being.
And if we cannot speak when a man is suffering in detention, then our speeches about democracy, freedom and human rights are nothing more than noise.
Speak for Kizza Besigye.
Speak loudly.
Speak now.
Before history asks us the question we will never be able to answer:
“You knew he was suffering. Why did you remain silent?”
