Fun fact, there is an absolutely GIGANTIC bust of Päts behind the Estonia Theatre, just outside Old Town

I'm no expert, but my understanding is he was a hugely important figure in 🇪🇪's first independence, however his leadership was characterised by corruption & authoritarianism

These are mugshots of Konstantin Päts, the first prime minister of independent Estonia.

He died aged 81 in a Soviet gulag. As did his son Viktor and 8yo grandson Henn.
