@GSawision Scarborough used to have a bylaw prohibiting signs on the right of way on roads. Used to scoop up signs. Seems that the amalgamated City is more forgiving.

@GSawision @LWaler I know it’s almost worthwhile to cross the border to the US, stay in a hotel and order a delivery from Katz’s or travel all the way to NYC and have one there. Not sure about getting a pastrami on rye from Europe, that might be challenging.

@GSawision @LWaler I don’t know what they do with their sandwiches. Had one last week. They’re not as good the day after, usually eat half, leave half for the next day. The jalapeño is a spread, doesn’t cut it for me.

What I’ve seen that’s true. At least Manhattan has many iconic buildings dating back over a century. Was a member. during my professional career, of BOMA and got to go to tour the inside of the Chrysler Building as part of their Convention. While in NYC I got to eat at my favorite deli, Katz’s on Houston. They ship all over the US for orders over $100. With the High Holidays sure do miss my corned beef sandwich. Sure miss being there because of my old person issues.

@GSawision @LWaler But the City looks so dynamic when you drive along the Gardner in the downtown with the Skydome (I recently switched from Roger’s to Telus) and CN tower as a backdrop. A billion dollar view, we look so mature.

@GG37374104 @MattKinapen Cheer up. Time to start planning next year’s flower 🌼 garden 🪏. I tried some different varieties of seeds rather than already growing plants. Turned out fabulous still blooming. Going to order some more seeds soon.
