Medinah No. 3 has a fresh new look courtesy of @OCMGolf. The redesign was one of the courses that left the biggest impact on our team in 2024.
Here's what @mattrouches had to say after the new layout opened this summer:
"Back in high school, I received an invite to play the Medinah Shriners Jr. on the famous No. 3. The anticipation to play the course I saw host the 2012 Ryder Cup was immense. But atter the tournament I was left unimpressed with the course. For reasons I could not explain at the time I was already questioning why Course 3 was so 'great.'
"Now, after a transformative OCM renovation, my excitement and anticipation of seeing the course again is even greater than the feelings I had in high school.
Reestablishing an authentic prairie environment while allowing the land movement to capture the attention of players was well executed by the Australian design firm and the closing stretch is way more dynamic than the previous iteration. The 2026 Presidents Cup can't come soon enough!"
@J_Snyder613 5-6 win team is my guess. Need to build a program again. Takes time but this is a random collection of transfers (none of whom are actually very good) with some underclassmen mixed in.
2022 in review.
Course #3 closed in early November, allowing for tree removal and some preliminary works to begin.
We now wait patiently for the snow to melt and shaping to begin sometime in March or April 2023.
@BrianAhmadLUTCF @garyvee He played both sides- covered himself by saying most would fail, which he could then reference when the inevitable happened..while also tweeting constantly about NFTs to followers who in most cases should be investing $0 in speculative things

@J_Snyder613 Same thing with entering draft with no agent. Kids with zero chance of ever getting drafted or playing in the NBA. I guess they do it for the retweets. No scouts are giving them meaningful feedback.
