Molodoy >>>
@HasanibnAli7218@BlkkCS Its a free market cuz YOU choose to be part of it, and if thats your choice you AGREE with the rules. No, valve could not make the same amount of money for YEARS, it might work just fine on the short term to be like valorant, but valve knows that this is more sustainable.
Why $10 knives would never make sense
I’ve seen a lot of people say skins should be cheap so everyone can afford them, but that would completely destroy what makes this market special.
If everyone could buy a Butterfly Emerald for $20 or a Hedge Maze for $10, no one would care about skins the way they do now. The excitement and rarity would vanish, and the market would turn into a Fortnite shop with zero value or exclusivity.
Luxury goods work the same way, if a Ferrari F40 cost $20K, it wouldn’t feel special. Everyone would have one, and the whole meaning of owning it would disappear. It’s the rarity that creates emotion and value.
When you finally buy a skin you’ve wanted for years, that feeling is unmatched. You appreciate it because it’s rare, because it took time, effort. If it cost $10, it just wouldn’t feel the same.
Making skins cheap would kill the economy entirely. Why open cases, do trade ups, or take big risks if every knife costs $10? Valve knows exactly what they’re doing, it’s their money machine, and it works because it feels exclusive.
Skins are digital luxury goods, they don’t wear out, they’re fun to use, and they hold meaning. People buy them for the dopamine, the uniqueness, and the pure enjoyment. That’s why the CS market keeps thriving.
1 week ago I said the panic selling phase was over and the market wouldn’t crash further. 90% of the comments called me braindead and said I knew nothing about the CS market.
Now the market’s been climbing nonstop. So tell me, are y’all still delusional waiting for that “incoming crash”? 💀
A simple regression analysis would show that the crash was extremely unjust and largely caused by panic. There’s simply not enough new supply to justify the percentage change.
Will the gold prices ever reach what they once were? Probably not, but everything else will have to increase.
This will largely effect the price gap between cheap and expensive golds. Wouldn’t be surprised if a new all time high is reached by the end of the year.
People that were saying "today crash when tradelocks ends" now saying "tomorrow/ next week crash".
Hey we dont give a shit. You were wrong today and thats what matters. Take the L Mr Warren Buffett
