Healthcare workers are my people. Health insurance is a scam. I like to share examples of US medical insurance company abuse and widespread systems failures.
@TheDailyShow His father and uncle were both assassinated. Sometimes you're dense, Jon. It's a funny joke re Stephen Miller, lol. But I'm sure Cheryl Hines understands the gravity of the situation for RFK.
But let's at bare minimum conduct a root cause analysis. A root cause analysis does not have to target an individual as we analyze every step of the process starting from who sent these men that may have had their fuses already lit into arrest a man with decade old parking tickets, to every push and shove and verbal interaction. It may be a culture problem or a training problem. Who is analyzing risk vs reward? There could be any number of opportunities for improvement. Additionally investigating at least telegraphs to the boots on the ground that these are not outcomes we want. Defending without investigation gives dangerous empowerment to certain personalities.
Sir, you could have saved some space with "I was wrong for jumping to an uninformed conclusion which inadvertently incentivised similar behavior. "
I do understand and respect your origin story but it would be beneficial to consider seeking out the high performing unflappable good apples that exemplify deescalation and lift those individuals up in ways that their example can shine. Right now many agents hired haphazardly without proper vetting or training need emotionally intelligent leadership by example.
If I may, in your own words, "This is not good for America. We need to go back to a world where we suspend judgment and await the conclusions of a detailed investigation before we convict or exonerate. Let’s not forget that a man is presumed innocent until proven guilty. " Yet you did participate in the justification of homicide in an officer escalated scenario without an investigation, before it was fully realized that the driver's wheels were clearly steering away from the officer and she was actually fatally wounded fom the side window, out of harms way. When that fatal decision was practically incentivised by someone with your stature, it became predictable that another agent would snap in a similar self escalated scenario.
@allenanalysis Rand being uninvited to Trump events predated the incident you are referring to. It started when Rand didn't support the big beautiful bill. That's when Trump began retaliating against Rand.
Ah yes, all those greedy physicians.
You mean the one’s whose median salary is 350K?
And the hospital CEOs whose median salary is 1.1MM?
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
Instead of proving yourself to be wholly retarded, you could just choose to not post.
Look, I was just trying to help you guys find a legit reason for a erroneous meme. The entire premise of the meme is comparing the number of Texas *registered* Republicans vs the number of Texas *registered* Democrats. But texans don't register with parties.
The primary party ballot Texans choose is one way texas voters become affiliated with a party. Looking at 2008 shows how flawed it would be to just count party affiliation.
CynNiki,
Look at 2008 primaries in Texas. You'll see significantly more Democrat party affiliation in Texas due to the close primary contest on the Democrat side.
But of course it would remain a totally inaccurate representation of the facts to say that Dems outnumbered Rep voters in 2008. Just like it is a completely made up premise to use the term "registered Republicans" or "registered Democrats" in Texas since Texans don't officially register. Assumptions are made, in part by looking at primary party voting.
But no one saying there isn't hope for Dems in Texas. Tx had a Dem Governor with Ann Richards. The answer lies in having a candidate with a distinct voice and vision and then the DNC allowing that voice and vision to be heard.
Doc Holiday, are you replying to me?
Platitudes implies a moral slant. I assure you, I am a Independent as one can be. I personally don't understand how anyone on any side gets this sucked into rhetoric and propaganda.
I was just trying to help those that would like to understand, where inaccurate numbers could originate. I have no dog in this fight.
It is a fact that Texas does not require a declaration of party preference when we register. The moment you show up for a primary and request either a dem or rep ballot is the moment you are associated with that party for at least the rest of the calendar year. I have shown up to a primary in a very republican district where there were by far mostly Dem voters at the primary because they had a close contest going on. Remember Obama v Clinton or Clinton v Sanders. It is inaccurate to make over all assumptions by party affiliation numbers, especially in Texas.
You have to consider the strong primary contests like Sander vs Clinton and Clinton v Obama. By the time primaries get to Texas they have lost a lot of steam if they are all but decided. I remember Hilary v Obama well and there were at least 20X more democrat constituents that showed up compared to the Republican contest. And this is in a consistently Republican district. But if you just arrived from out of town on that day, you would have thought by those numbers that this was a decidedly dem district. But those numbers were because Hilary and Obama were still in the thick of it.
So, to count voters based on primary voting turn-out is totally inaccurate.
Personally, I am non-partisan.
@Freedom7Restore@SanAntoGuera In Texas we don't have to register with a party to vote, but voting in a primary is considered joining a party. So that's possibly where the numbers come from.
@anonymousRN12 I can't either. But what are you saying the consequences of that are? Are you saying a care giver might retaliate? I can't imagine doing that either.
Wake up people. Stop these "insurance" companies. I'd honestly rather pay cash for nearly everything, with the exception of cancer; a whole other issue w pharm.

@tracegallagher I wish it was common sense to be concerned about all violence. It is unfortunate that some ICE agents lacking in common sense are not being corrected. No one had an issue with criminals being held accountable or deported, but we've lost the plot. https://t.co/9S4MuyrdlV
Independent here. Because some ICE agents are making bad decisions. Good judgement matters in these situations and not all rank and file have it. Most people believed that ICE would target drug trafficking and violent criminals. Now we have an honors student with service awards locked up?
