Proverbs 14 speaks a lot about making choices. There are right ways to do things and there are wrong ways. Godly ways to act and worldly ways. Godly choices will lead to blessings and worldly choices will have consequences-for individuals and nations. Honesty, humility, helping the poor, controlling our emotions, and ultimately following God’s lead when making decisions will result in The Lord honoring and protecting us. Pride, arrogance, dishonesty, and refusing to help others will eventually be judged by God and lead to ruin. Chapter 14 gives this warning to everyone- individuals, leaders AND NATIONS. I hope we’re listening!
