@Paul__Buckle In my archive I still have some of the very early announcements some even when the BBC locally first got their caption generator. The different lines showing a nice background and the day and the programmes were almost in line with each other but sometimes not quite!

We are hoping to take 1st class Belfast/Dublin after a major operation. I now have a blue badge due to visual impairment restricting left hand side & will travel with a companion. This will a very special experience. I appreciate your advice on making this assimple as possible.

One day will @bbcnews remove the invasive red banner that masks the bottom of the bulletins? Why does it have to be there as even during the recent splashdown from space y see the scary make contact with water. Someone must be on a hefty contract to use it?

@Lifttech6 Thanks for the info. My thoughts are including exclusions for passenger insurance cover to/from the vehicle. as there's bound to be some thing about that whichwebsites dont seem to include. Probably minefield of clauses.

Do any #Belfasttaxi firms, like @fonacabbelfast or @valuecabs provide a service to help passengers with some visual or mobility impairment who need a small amount of assistance getting in & out of a taxi. Just that small help could be a big confidence builder & sense of freedom?

@RonanGKelly @BelfastTrust @NHS @mikenesbittni Having medics as both family & friends it's sad that so few really understand what it is like to work in the NHS whether as a GP or in hospital. It takes very dedicated souls to be in the firing line of so many people that are ill and still try and carry on with your own lives.

@jurgen_nauditt If you look at the number of 'commercial breaks' when watching the BBC News Channel it's more than the commercial broadcasters use themselves. Add the amount of self-promotion inserts, many running for literally years, and it's almost unbelievable!
