The average family of four is now expected to spend **$17,571** on groceries in 2026 — up nearly **$1,000** from last year. Meat, produce, and basics keep climbing while wages lag.

Carney’s response to the recession?
“The plan is settling in.”
“Some weakness.”
“Data will be uneven.”

The same guy who asked to be judged by your grocery bill is now gaslighting Canadians about a recession he helped create while prices at the till stay painfully high.

This isn’t settling in.
This is managed decline dressed up as steady leadership.

Canadians judged him exactly how he asked.
