Home BPs are fine but you must ensure the patient is using the standardised technique at home. Very often it isn't a 'resting' BP that is being taken so careful explanations v important here #NephJC
In my hypertension clinic I insist on having a separate area (room) for 2x left and 2x right arm BPs to be taken following 5 minutes resting. Explaining the rationale to clinic staff helps a lot #NephJC

Repeatedly now seeing dialysis patients with #COVID19 missing 1 or more HD sessions before presenting late. Theme so far is that they are often substantially *below* their dry weight +/- relatively hypotensive and very sick.
