What started as a lockdown #modelrailway has reached a stage worthy of presentation. Had a lot of fun kit-bashing the structures for this!
Technical specs:
009 Gauge, 16x6inch footprint, 5-3-3 inglenook puzzle. And yes, it does work!

A great shame, cause I had a lot of fun making them, and I do think they're a good example for my portfolio. But I'm just tired of having to send so many takedown notices...
Sadly, I'm having to contemplate taking down the Dark Ride character illustrations from a few years back. Unfortunately over the last year I've seen an increase in people from the theme park community believing 'if it's online, it's mine!'.
...And at the end of the day, it's starting to look like a locomotive again! Still more work to do, but hopefully next weekend should see the last details added.

Getting round to putting 'Douglas' back together, finally opting to put it into a 'Heywood' style livery. Early stages, but slowly getting there. Tony masking tape is pain.

I'm told today is 6 years since I sketched out some character poses for this Pirate Captain (And his Parrot!) still one of my favourite design. A very round character is quite nice to work with!
@EuanEchidhog I hear there are RTR '00' versions in the works (I believe by Model Rail, to go with their J70 Trams) There were also 4mm brass kits at one point, the maker escapes me, sadly long out of production, though they do occasionally surface...
Today's project: Assembling a Ratio 4 wheel Brake 3rd. Eventually it'll end up in a teak livery in homage to Wisbech-Upwell brake coach. Assembly is far easier than online posts led me to believe.

Hearing 'Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds' is being broadcast on YouTube Friday night has me searching for my 30th anniversary tour satchel...
I really need to patch this thing up sometime!
