We were absolutely floored by the millions of you that watched us make silly water sillouettes on our driveway last summer. We are starting out the summer the only way we know how, and this time itโs all about movies! What else do you want to see? We have a whole summer ahead, a driveway and a hose. The possibilities are endless!!!
Out of 16.4 million Americans who served in WWII, only about 40,000 are still alive.
Theyโre dying at a rate of ~100 per day.
These are the heroes who saved the world from tyranny.
Find one. Thank one. Listen to their stories.
While you still can.
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nationโs capital? Iโd also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. ๐บ๐ธ

165 pool noodles were ordered from Walmart in Dayton, Ohio. They were all delivered in separate boxes
You donโt understand how ridiculously wasteful this is until you see the boxes next to the pool noodles
To make this right Walmart offered a $50 gift card for the inconvenience
Walmartโs automated packing and shipping system treated each noodle as a separate line item, defaulting to individual boxing based on algorithms for size, weight, and protection.
Packers didnโt override it for bulk efficiency
The crazy part is I looked this up and found it likely cost Walmart $800โ$2,500+ in total shipping costs for the 165 individual boxes
Walmart definitely lost money on fulfillment
Fred Smith Jr 2โtimes Mr. basketball player of Tennessee was headed home today after the cleaning up his locker room for the last time taking all his basketball shoes home and pulled off the exit close to his house and saw a homeless man, with no shoes on,๐ฒ. Fred Jr bless him.
When you play for the Memphis Grizzlies and you embrace the city, we love you in life and death. Youโre forever a Memphian no matter what. #GrindCity
Our hearts are broken. Brandon Clarke spent his last birthday with @ARISE2Read, sharing cupcakes with 2nd graders and reminding them that they matter. He wasn't just a Grizzly; he was a friend who believed in literacy and helping our kids. #BrandonClarke#ARISE2Read#Memphis
Large hail crashed into this pool, making the backyard look like a snow-covered scene as severe thunderstorms moved through the Yukon, Oklahoma, area outside Oklahoma City.

This woman went to visit this dog shelter that apparently most people donโt know even exists.
She was fortunate to go right when they were set to have their play time.
Look at all those beautiful dogs who just want a hug. ๐
This shelter gets no visitors and has less than 5 adoptions each month. Less than 5!
Letโs help rescue these dogs and clear their shelter. They are in a rural part of Georgia.
Do you know someone looking for a dog? Anyone in Georgia or close by? Or maybe you are due for an overdue road trip?
