DCSD and 13 other school districts have collectively made the difficult decision to keep our schools closed to in-person learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

The Douglas County School District will follow the Governor’s executive order and remain closed through Thursday, April 30, and we will continue with remote learning during that time.

We have been receiving a lot of questions as to what you can and cannot do in our parks, hopefully this will answer those questions. We ask that you help us out by not doing things like jumping fences to the closed fields. It is kind of hard to say "I didn't know".
