🇪🇸🏳️🌈 Las noches de Tefía (2023)🎬
A Powerful Spanish Series About Queer History
Las noches de Tefía is a powerful Spanish series inspired by the real-life Francoist prison camp for h0m0s3xual men in Fuerteventura, Spain.
Between 1954 and 1966, the Colonia Agrícola Penitenciaria de Tefía held men imprisoned under Spain’s Vagrants and Criminals Law (Ley de Vagos y Maleantes), including many who were persecuted simply for being gay.
Created by Miguel del Arco, the series follows young Airam and other men as they endure forced labor, abuse, and humiliation while holding on to friendship, desire, and imagination as ways to survive.
Told partly through an older Airam looking back in 2004, the series blends raw historical drama with dark humor, cabaret-style fantasy, and moments of quiet intimacy.
It never romanticizes the suffering these men endured. Instead, it shows how, even in a place designed to strip them of their dignity, they continued to find ways to connect, express themselves, and resist.
One of Spain’s most powerful recent series exploring LGBTQ+ history under Franco’s dictatorship. Painful, moving, and profoundly important.
The rounded buttocks bounced and rhythmically slammed against the long cock. The rhythm we created was incredibly sensual 💦
