@checkr @SHRM So first it takes you 2 months to process the background check, then it comes back with outdated incorrect information… man, you guys are ridiculous. I hope something is done about you all soon. 🤦🏾‍♂️ y’all must use been verified to do your checks because your system sucks!

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@bbb_us can you all look into @checkr business practices. There are people out here unemployed because background checks are taking months while other companies take 1-5 bus days. Something fishy here. Gig workers can’t get to work because of them

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@checkr Will there be any extra effort out into getting background checks done? I was able to get my own report done in less than a week. Why is a taking a million dollar company over 2 months?

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@smileythefather @checkr Man I have this same issue.. it’s been 2 months and support is no help at all. They just copy and paste the same response. They don’t even read your questions. Haven’t got 1 question answered yet. Just a script win nonsense about court closures but all courts open in Atlanta

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@danielyanisse @BLS_gov @KEBroady @_cromer043 @BrookingsInst I’m black and was removed from my job because Lyft requested a routine background check through @checkr on May 28th that hasn’t been completed. Despite the fact that I have nothing new on my record and I was a 5 Star driver. Several others like me 🤦🏾‍♂️ in online forums…

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@danielyanisse How do you want to give us a fair shot at job when I’m currently not able to work because I can’t get a background check completed that was requested way back in May. It’s almost august and I’m still sidelined waiting. How is this helping give us a fair shot? I was already workin

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@danielyanisse @checkr @adele_peters @FastCompany So if you can do all of this, why can’t you get background checks completed in a reasonable amount of time? Why do you keep blaming it on court and dmv closures when we are fully functional in Atlanta. It’s a statewide check not federal. this is so sad.

[Raymond Fordham @RSuavee]

@danielyanisse @FordFoundation @emmanuelfelton @washingtonpost What we need is for background checks to get completed so that we can continue to provide for our families.. being out of work for 2-3 months waiting for a background check is un-real…
