@BonJoviTalk In my opinion Jon sounds acceptable and going to a show you would walk away satisfied. He’s done an outstanding job from where he was at.
I agree the setlist (especially the first 5-6 songs) is a very average way to start the show. Something from “these days” need to be added.
@ShakeShakti “It’s my life” was one of the worst things and one of the best things that happened to the band. It made them huge again and a new audience found them, but Jon has continued to try and write that same song and message ever since. Just older is the only song I love in this album
@iBrett007@thescreendoor Dont forget the run through the middle where Jon has to sing the lower key/ easier songs like Lost Highway/WWBTF/we got it going on.
He says they’ve rehearsed over 50 songs for the tour… I think we will be lucky to get 30 of them
@xGeorgeMichael@ShakeShakti 95% of their catalogue is out of his range these days… that’s why we’ve basically seen the same setlists for the last 4 tours
@ShakeShakti I don’t think anyone could deny that. Richie’s voice was always better, but having a great voice is just part of the puzzle. From 1985-2005 Jon was the best front man in the business
@BonJoviTalk I think you’ll find many people feel the way you do… I’m proud of Jon for the hard work he has done. He sounds better than he did. It’s not great and never will be again, but I love the fact he wants to keep going and that should be celebrated in my opinion
@BonJoviTalk The random comments you hear Jon make about how he’s singing better than ever is a joke. He is however singing a lot better than 4 years ago. I could go watch them live sounding like this, whereas I couldn’t back in 22
@rossmacleodputt Anyone who is honest with themselves would take the money. Why? Because there are no guarantees of success no matter how good a young player might be., and if you can set up the rest of yours and your families lives, you’d be an idiot not to take it
