This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention.
The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean.
And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them.
Record-breaking temperatures.
A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse.
The response?
Yank out the instruments and walk away.
That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency.
For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives.
The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident.
That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

One of the most horrific scenes in human history has been revealed.
At the very moment when a group of unarmed civilians were bombed, their bodies were torn apart, and another person who was injured and unable to walk was killed in cold blood by Israel.
A video the world must never forget.
This is Officer
Caroline Edwards.
She was attacked by the insurrectionists on January 6th. They cracked her heac open, resulting in a permanent brain injury.
For all those who support Trump's pardons and say you
"back the blue". You don't. You support fascism.
Keep posting this so people don’t forget how truly bad this event was.
Don’t let people gaslight you into thinking it was peaceful and worthy of 1500+ pardons and slush fund payoffs.
They start a war with Iran, can't win it and then tell everyone "Europe needs the Strait of Hormuz more than we do. Let them board a ship. This is their war, not ours."
What a bunch of fucking idiotic losers.
THIS IS THE USA'S WAR.
The President just used his power to exempt himself and his family from audits on every tax return they've ever filed.
If that is not corruption to the highest degree, then what is?
Trump's clear message: The USA is now betraying Taiwan as well.
China is a very, very powerful, large country, and Taiwan is a tiny island—as far as their respective chances are concerned. — Trump
Further statements by the US President:
If you look at history: Taiwan developed the way it did only because we had presidents who had no idea what they were doing. They basically stole our chip industry from us.
Anyone manufacturing chips in Taiwan should relocate to the USA.
The Chinese do not want to see this place—let’s just call it a place, because no one knows how to define it—as independent.
I don’t want anyone to become independent. Do we really have to travel 15,000 kilometers to fight a war? I don’t want that.
There really is no limit to Trump’s incompetence driven by his corruption in office. This is YOUR money he’s flushing down the toilet.

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Donald Trump has arrived in China to find that President XI did NOT greet him at the airport.
MAGA is in spin mode heralding the “red carpet treatment,” but the visit is already at a rocky start.
Instead of a presidential welcome, Trump was greeted by US Ambassador to China David Perdue; Xi’s vice president, Han Zheng; China’s Ambassador to Washington Xie Feng; and Executive Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ma Zhaoxu.
I’m sure Trump would hate if you shared this and rubbed it in all day long.
ZELENSKYY: Russia has fought to the point where its main parade now depends on us.
This is a clear signal: it’s time to end this war. Ukraine is ready to work for peace.
Russia received clear proposal from us on ceasefire and diplomatic steps, and it knows how to contact Ukraine or its partners to finalize details.
However, if that one person in Moscow who cannot live without war is interested only in parade and nothing else, then that's a different matter.
I thank everyone who stands with us and with Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!
