Students had an amazing time pumpkin picking this week. None of the children had ever been pumpkin picking befor!. They worked together to find the biggest pumpkin, they took turns pushing wheelbarrows and helped each other carry and carve pumpkins. #character #thisisap

Well done to Tyler and Lewis who are the first ever prefects of River Tees Primary Academy. They will represent RTMAT in and out of school, act as a guide for visitors, be involved in the meeting and greeting of new students and lead the Junior Leadership Team. Well done!

Cooking - Students practiced peeling, cutting and boiling skills and made carrot mash. They also looked at the different fruit and vegetables that are ready to eat at each season of the year. #thisisap

Students in primary conducted a practical experiment to demonstrate the process of the digestive system. Students used scientific language to explain each part of the process and used indicator paper to check the ph in test tubes. #currency #character #thisisap

This week students enjoyed a Forest school garden party to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. They enjoyed croquet, corgi races and designing amazing thrones amongst other fun activities. #character #community
