@nealmohan Dear Neal Mohan,
I am a severely disabled music creator from Japan living with a progressive muscular disease affecting my heart.
AI technology has allowed me to continue creating music and expressing myself even while becoming physically unable to perform traditional music production.
Through my independent label “Rubber’s record,” my music is officially distributed worldwide via TuneCore to YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Shazam and USEN.
I already have:
Official Artist Channel (OAC)
Topic Channel
ISRC registrations
Real-name songwriter/composer credits
My works are not simple one-click AI uploads.
I reconstruct and edit music inside DAWs with spatial audio production and artistic direction.
This is why I sincerely struggle to understand:
Why are officially distributed creators like me excluded from Content ID protection simply because AI tools are partially involved?
For me, Content ID is not only about monetization.
Because my illness is progressive and my remaining time may be limited, I want my music to remain safely protected and preserved even after I am gone.
AI is not replacing my humanity.
It is allowing me to continue participating in creativity and society despite severe physical limitations.
I hope YouTube will consider whether individual review may be possible for verified artists using AI responsibly and transparently.

Why are creators like me automatically excluded from Content ID protection simply because AI tools are partially involved?
Content ID is not only about monetization.
For creators with progressive illness and limited remaining time, it is important long-term protection to preserve our works after we are gone.
Is individual review possible for officially distributed and verified artists?
