@ericacbarnett Hi Erica, we check with the officials in Austria on a regular basis concerning travel bans, current regulations about cancellations and advise internally about this extreme situation. Our team will come back to you with a solution regarding your inconvenience.

@fleonus Hi Himanshu, we check with the officials in Austria on a regular basis concerning travel bans and our team will come back to you with a solution regarding your inconvenience.

[Ruby Hotels by IHG @RubyHotels]

@ericacbarnett You can be sure that this situation is not something that we take lightly and we are monitoring it and the regulations surrounding our cities closely. However, we would also ask you to refrain from posting the full name of one of our staff members and kindly ask you to remove it.

[Ruby Hotels by IHG @RubyHotels]

@ericacbarnett Unfortunately, a refund of the complete booking is only possible in case of force majeure. This applies if a state of emergency or travel ban is declared, or if the city or the hotel is in quarantine and is not accessible – such is not the case at the moment of your request.

[Ruby Hotels by IHG @RubyHotels]

@ericacbarnett Hi, We are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced when trying to cancel your stay. The current situation regarding COVID-19 is a very exceptional circumstance, the effects of which are clearly felt worldwide and also in our company, as part of the travel industry.
