While far left WA State leaders passed record tax increases, they failed to investigate daycares with no children receiving taxpayer funds according to The Center Square. This is despite the issue being covered heavily in media.

It was reported earlier this year that Governor Ferguson’s Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) had an un-auditable $416 MILLION of taxpayer funds, according to State Auditor Pat McCarthy (D). Taxpayer funded daycare fraud is being exposed nationwide.

And don't forget about the known fraud, waste, and abuse:

A squandered $15 BILLION surplus, the largest tax increases and spending spree in state history in back-to-back years (SB 5167 in 2025 & SB 5998 in 2026), $1.17 BILLION in missing COVID money, $646 MILLION of unemployment money being stolen by Nigerian scammers, $340 MILLION going to non-citizens, and so much more.

Imagine what these BILLIONS alone could have paid for.

It's well past time for state government to be responsible and accountable with your money.

Great Value frozen shrimp has 3 ingredients. Shrimp, salt and sodium tripolyphosphate.

Sodium tripolyphosphate is a phosphate salt. The shrimp get soaked in a tank of it before they're frozen, and the phosphate loosens the muscle proteins, so they hold on to water. The shrimp come out of the tank heavier than they went in, and the bag is sold by weight, so part of what you pay for is tank water. It also keeps them from drying out in the freezer.

Soaked shrimp sit in a puddle, steam instead of sear, and feel slick and a little rubbery. Untreated shrimp brown in the pan.

Costco's Kirkland raw shrimp says no chemicals added and no preservatives on the bag. The FDA allows the phosphate, so the check is the ingredient list on the back of the bag, under the net weight.
