@wontsomeonethi2 Would the world really fall apart if her son wore a dress/skirt for a while, tried a new name? Spent time seeing if it does feel right? What's the problem with exploring your gender?
@wontsomeonethi2@ALLIANCELGB The first issue here is that you're identifying heterosexual trans men as 'women attracted to women'. The second is that you seem surprised that there would be an increase in varied sexual attraction in this group, turns out you can tick more than 1 LGBTQIA box
@nanook991 @RSameryRealtor@wontsomeonethi2@Judith_Char Yeah kinda. Like, you need to support those groups and be an ally to them, otherwise the journey to progress will be longer and harder. Surely there's space for us to support each other in our battles?
@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 1) I would not say I am the same sex or gender as them but thank you for your assumptions. 2)last time I checked most bathrooms/changing rooms are single stalls. 3)why can't you just go to the loo and ignore who else is in there?
@wontsomeonethi2@SeptimusSulla @nanook991 @Judith_Char Congratulations folks you have won the ever coveted prize of Miss Katie Alcock deciding she is above you and your conversation. Watch as she will now refuse to respond to any tweets for fear that she might actually have to admit to not having a clue.
@Sal_Robins@betsvigi9@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 Cis means on the same side as and is the opposite term to trans which means on the other side as. So Cis Woman, Cis Man, Trans Woman, Trans man. See? Also, my point was that you are going to exclude people who don't fit your standards of what makes a '
@betsvigi9@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 So you think women who don't present feminine enough shouldnt use the women's room? What about a cis woman who has a hormone imbalance? Or a woman who has an alternative fashion sense that doesn't look feminine? Who is allowed in your bathroom?
@Mumoftwo1329@betsvigi9@wontsomeonethi2 That's my personal feeling yes, the actual situation is much more complicated (having lived it) and for example being a cop gives many more benefits (ability to intimidate victims, hide evidence etc) over trying to live as trans
@betsvigi9@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 Being trans isn't easy. It can take a minimum of 5/6 years for your gp to being looking at treatment/therapy. In comparison, being a teacher, being a shop attendant, being a cop, all much easier ways to access victims.
@Mumoftwo1329@betsvigi9@wontsomeonethi2 So if I present as a woman, pass as a woman and pose no risk to other women I can use women's spaces? Cool, I'll carry on doing that then thank you for clarifying that you do think trans women can access these spaces
@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 1) Dan is a trans man and probably doesn't want to be in your changing room 2) I don't think it's for any organisation to say what spaces we can use. In an ideal world everywhere would be gender neutral and you'd all grow the fuck up
@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 I have no issue with a trans woman, who isnt bothering me or hurting anyone, using the facilities they choose. I absolutely do care about safety, someone having a penis doesn't make them not safe
@Mumoftwo1329@betsvigi9@wontsomeonethi2 I'm sure they would be happier to use the men's room, but by your logic they should have to use the bathroom if their assigned sex at birth, which would be the women's room as this is a trans man. Do you see the issue now? Your logic is flawed. Give up love
@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 And yet those organisations have never stopped me....almost like there is no way for them, or the bigots like you, to actually know when we are using those spaces because you can't tell that we don't meet your standards for being a woman
@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2 The one She feels most comfortable in and safest in, asking trans women to use the men's room puts them at risk of abuse, harassment and assault.
@Mumoftwo1329@wontsomeonethi2@betsvigi9 So are you willing to ake back your insult? Or is it still shameful to highlight that safeguarding should be targeting Predators, who can be men/women/
