Hi There!
I am Sidney and I am a Teacher Candidate from the UNBC B.Ed. program in the elementary stream cohort! Just here to spread happiness and knowledge
Happy turkey day weekend! Hope you get the chance to get in touch with what you’re thankful for this weekend. Here’s what some of the kinders said they were thankful for: recess, nature, family and one little nugget said everything! Also here is a heard of turkeys we made!
How To Raise Emotionally Intelligent Children | Lael Stone | TEDxDocklands https://t.co/MgD21VVvHs via @YouTube thank you for sharing this @gvogelsang73 got some ideas flowing in the brain today
Leadership : a term I have been thinking about a lot lately in my teaching journey and what a good teacher leader looks like , for this one though I decided to let Ruby do the leading #WalkingCurriculum#UNBCED#EDUC490
It has been crazy busy the past few days but with the awesome weather I could not resist getting outside : if you look closely you can see the sun and the moon out in this pic- had me thinking about re-centring and balance . #WalkingCurriculum#UNBCED#EDUC490
Spending the afternoon lesson planning and jamming out on the patio to our class playlist... not a bad way to spend Friday evening #UNBCED@TrinaChivilo
Got out early before class this morning for day 11- for today I was noticing how certain times of day can effect movement in my neighbourhood. Morning-Kids waiting for the bus, people heading off to work, younger siblings playing in the park. #UNBCED#WalkingCurriculum#EDUC490
Day 10: points of connection. Taking time to notice all the points of connection we have with each other. The smile , or a quick hello with people you pass along the way and the hum of traffic as everyone gets to where they need to be. #UNBCED#WalkingCurriculum#EDUC490
Went searching for a record of animals around my house and found this little tree which has become a nice snack spot! If you look close, you can see they have nibbled the ends of the branches off and left behind a little offering. #unbced#walkingcurriculum#getoutside#EDUC490
Day 3: Roots are foundational and withstand change, like memory and story that span generations. Although unseen themselves, their evidence is consistent, especially as new life emerges from decay. #unbced#walkingcurriculum#EDUC490#feelingrooted
While my roots run deep from the Lhetako Dene nation, I am enjoy branching out (get it?) & exploring the unseeded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh. Bright& early walk/run to find inner peace this morning☀️ #getoutside#30daychallenge#feelingrooted#WalkingCurriculum#unbced
Day Four! Some human tracks and non-human tracks on the same subject. Reminds me that tracks are sometimes more than footprints but can include marks we leave on the world. #WalkingCurriculum#UNBCED#EDUC490
Out for day two ! I saw this writing on a stop sign out of the corner of my eye while on my journey. Reminded me of how easily we can miss hidden messages from others when we are caught up in the tasks of daily life. #UNBCED#WalkingCurriculum#EDUC490
