Yesterday we played a mixture of trialists and dev players and it clearly showed. A very well organised and technical Macclesfield side dominated from start to finish, there was some great spells for rammy but ultimately Macc was too strong for the young rams.

The young rams just couldn’t get out of second gear and was punished for it. Govan played some amazing and exiting football and fully deserved the result. Mountain to climb for us if we are to make it through to the semis.
