This country is in total disarray! You find a school next to a bar, a piggery behind someone’s flat, children studying beside busy roads with loud music blasting past them and people with tiny plots in front of major developments who deliberately refuse to sell or inflate prices to frustrate projects.
This chaos and lack of planning is exactly why the government must take full ownership of all land for proper national planning.

We ask General @mkainerugaba to amend the land law so that the government owns all land. This will allow proper planning for the country because individual land ownership hinders development. The government should take over the land, build estates for low, middle and high income earners, designate places for housing, industries and schools benchmarked from top global education systems like china equipped with skills that help our children. This will create large areas for commercial farming as the backbone of Uganda.. Right now people are scattered, making it impossible to cultivate even one square mile of land

As part of the cabinet induction retreat today, we visited Hoima City Stadium to allow the new ministers to appreciate the government's efforts & preparedness to host #AFCON2027.

Later, we shall also visit & familiarise ourselves with some of the milestone infrastructure projects in the Bunyoro sub-regions, including EACOP, Kabalega Airport and Kingfisher projects, among others.
