In May, the pupils of Primary School Dr. Hernâni Cidade (Redondo, PT) learned about migratory fish ecology by playing the DiadSea card game 🎲🃏🌊

Over 400 juvenile #lampreys were #PIT tagged to unravel their oceanic life stage. Tagging campaigns in the #Mondego River conducted by DiadSea researchers from @cienciasulisboa and @UEvora continue, with the first results expected in Spring 2026! @AtlanticArea @MAREscience

A fish day of commercial fishermen in Natural Park of International Tagus. The invasive European catfish (Silurus glanis) is one the largest catches with carp (Cyprinus carpio) - also invasive. In 5 days they harvest almost 2 metric tons of catfish! #lifepredator @MAREscience
