@benwehrman Eh nah this is toxic dynamic where mother triangulates things she's offended by through the father. Father becomes an enforcer role. Child has traumatic relationship with both parents; fears father, can't trust mother.
@Men_Of_Purpose i picked up a book one summer similar. It was just like writing down your wishes & reading them aloud multiple times a day. One of mine was "im driving a red corvette"; only said it a couple months, but, 1 year later my manager offered to let me drive his, holding the door open
@amazing13_13 That hit deep and i don't even know why. But. I'd have to guess it's related to a lack of a sense of identity. And picking up on external signals that something is wrong but not knowing what it is.
@LucciaorLucy@BraedenSorbo Seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist is like temporarily giving up your agency to allow someone to take the reigns of your life; telling you how to think, what to feel, what to do. After awhile you decide to give yourself permission to walk away from it and resume control.
@Viralvid_89 Unfortunately in customer service if you engage with these people there's no way to win. The more you talk to them to defend yourself, the more hurtful comments they'll sling. You just have to grey rock. Say "thank you for the feedback."
@washghost1 I usually buy angus patties and i just haven't this past month because prices went up a lot. Was already on the fence with the price before and was only buying the markdown (close to expiry)
@ciiibbbeee Honestly just painting the wood white have made the room look better enough. That modern shelving is just hideous, seen it way too much. Might as well hang a 'live laugh love' sign right next to it for the full cringe immersion.
@MetamateDaz The process of applying is humiliating. You have to talk highly of yourself, act all confident & just hope they pick you. Work, something that is grueling enough that people have to pay you to do it. But you have to beg for the opportunity to do it. Strange world
@_ROB_29 I don't nap because i know if i sleep it'll be for possibly 8 hours & that would mess up my sleep schedule. Why not use alarm.. well.. because if i sleep like 90 minutes for a nap i'll wake up with a headache for the rest of the day. I'm convinced naps are a woman thing
