@davidhart100 I think the bang on head to be covered up with the bandage and baseball cap a few years later defo pushed the boundaries and caused a few “headaches” for more than just me! Always be greatful for the support but equally for the sense of belief and fun!

Hard to believe 20 years today finished my first crazy event. On anniversary of overcoming first journey with cancer ran 4 half marathons in 24 hours. From rural Belfast, over to Prestwick down Mossdale to Castle Douglas, Scotland. The horrible middle of night indoor Wales leg before a Helicopter taking off next to Red Arrows into my first Great Notth Run. I had the most amazing group of support crew and support from team at Great Run. Don’t remember too much but I do remember how great that day felt after a tough year. No one knew what was still to continue and what around the corner today but do know what a great feeling it was. @GBrydsonD_G @dgcouncil @DGCEducation Gosh never knew 110 schools in D&G but big geography to cover! Just googled 2,500 square in D&G vs my London Borough 14.5 square miles with 90 schools. I’m still so proud of my education in Galloway - such an opportunity maker!

10 weeks today will be crossing the start line of Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race 5 stages, day 1 from 6000 to 12000 feet, up hill for 24 miles, day 2 at altitude for 20 miles, day 3 is Everest marathon officially 26.4 miles (I seem to remember closer to 30 miles), day 4 a joyful recovery 13 miles on road! And finish with 17 miles.
