OK, so I want to be completely real with all of y’all about why this new workshop means so much to me.
I grew up dirt-ass poor. Like, the kind of poor where you don’t know where your next meal is coming from. The kind where stability never really feels real, because everything can disappear just as quickly as it showed up.
When you grow up like that, it sticks with you. Even when things are going well, part of you is always waiting for the floor to fall out from underneath you.
I didn’t come from money. I didn’t inherit a business, a building, or a safety net. Quite the opposite actually. I had to grow up far too fast and learn how to provide for myself at a very early age.
Cultivated Laser started with whatever equipment we could afford (it was bad), a willingness to work our asses off, and the hope that maybeif we kept grinding—we could build something real. And we did.
That is what this workshop represents to me.
It isn’t just more square footage. It isn’t just a place to put lasers and 3D printers. It is permanence. It is security. It is proof that where you start does not have to determine where you finish. Even more than all of that, it means that I broke the generational cycle of poverty for my family, and that my kids will never have to worry about where that next meal comes from.
It means having room to grow this business, bring new ideas to life, hire people, and build something that can take care of my family for years to come. Something no one handed to us. Something we fought for, one order at a time.
I’m not telling y’all this because I want sympathy. I’m telling you because so many of you have been here buying patches, magazines, and whatever other weird shit we decided to make next. You helped turn a little laser business into something I never could have imagined having when I was a kid. If 8 year old me would meet current me, 8 year old me would be fascinated and think I was the richest person on the planet, and that hits hard.
We aren’t across the finish line yet, but we are closer than we have ever been.
And if we pull this off, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully explain what it means to me.
But I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to make it worth it.
@DIT545songs It’s not what you’re saying it is.
Could’ve been the more recent anti-ICE demonstrations but I don’t remember LAPD shutting down freeways during that.
2020 almost certainly
@__MPMS__ No plates, direct mount tq to spec.
No local range haha
But also it’s not really an issue, except upon first shots. That’s what I mean, it sounds like some schizo retard shit hahahah but it happened on both.
They’ve held zero since then, few hundred rounds on each. Just weird🤣
Idk if I’m just retarded but this keeps happening with my pistol dots:
I loosely cowitness the dot, it seems solid, then I go shoot and it seemingly shifts HARD left. Then I adjust to that same cowitness from before, dead on.
And holding.
But 1st shots seem to shift zero.
Weird
She was killed by him right after she made this video exposing him for being a pedophile.
And THIS is why women it takes years for women to come forward. She refused to stay silent, and it cost her her life.
@__MPMS__ No its the actual dot moving!
It’ll be dead center, after a couple shots it seems to shift HARD(impact right, dot left).
Then I recenter the dot via windage adjustment and BOOM it’s good from then on.
Like its loose when new, shaken into submission and then stays there? Idk hahah
I’ve been saying this about “1st amendment auditors” for years
They are asserting they want to use their rights, but they have effectively deepened public surveillance and normalized it.
We need to fix some shit.
If the take is anything besides “we live in a society that’s normalizing surveillance culture and rewarding freaks for invading people’s privacy so we fight it less when our government does it” I’m not interested
First mag was rough. Fixed the dot, shot 150rds without further issue.
This has happened now with 2 different Holosun EPS Carry models.
Idk if I’m just not as close as I assume with the original cowitness? I Just try for the same alignment when I “fix” it.
No clue🤣
Mfs also did it with bacon, mustaches, random shit that becomes “iconic” thanks to the wack tumblr-type persons(?).
Idk how to describe it, but it sets off my autism HARD because I don’t understand this weird hivemind shit.
This is one of those things.
I see Jimothy, I think “Ha, how cool! Look at the guy go!”
Some NPCs really go all out in this weird trend… and it gives me the creeps.
What is this “normie” shit??
“iTs NoT tHaT dEeP bRo”
Keep coping. It’s a symptom of societal decline.
The “Jimothy” thing is actually insane because it’s like millennials collectively Rip van Winkle’d in 2015 and have suddenly woken up, completely unaware that an entire decade has passed.
