How George Ezra combined with a dodgy hamstring to plunge me into misery. https://t.co/e65nZ9IjIC Reliving the Tour of Merseyside, stage three #running
Finally got around to writing up stage two of the @btrliverpool#TourOfMerseyside, around lovely Thurstaston. This post involves less moaning about my so-called friends and instead even whinging about the course. 😆 https://t.co/NCZJj5DwBa #runningblogs
A rare fresh blog post… and one featuring a couple of the more celebrated @ealingeagles at the Southport Half. Will try to keep posting throughout the #TourOfMerseyside#BTRTOM2022#running https://t.co/vWKW4TKq6r
1/2 We're now just days away from the 9th Tour Of Merseyside 2022 - when our Tourists taking part will literally be on Cloud 9.
This race series started back in 2013, and it's become a must-do event after really establishing itself in the race calendar.
Well, that was a run of two topsy-turvy halves. Exhilarating as I struggled out into a crazy headwind, waves showering me over the prom… Then my weak will, lazy lungs and lardy legs couldn’t hack the wind-assisted pace on the way home and I kept stopping for breathers.😕#rubbish
Andy: Starts washing-up, stops to change son’s nappy, extracts daughter’s new toothbrush from soiled nappy, deals with toothbrush, puts poo-smeared son in bath, dries and changes him into PJs, finishes washing-up, wipes down surfaces, breathes a sigh…
Garmin: “Move!”
Well, this tattered old fella still works, even if my legs don’t. So nice to be back at @crosbyparkrun1 this morning. A mahoosive thanks to all the volunteers, as ever. I’ll chip in and do a shift soon. 👍
Hi everyone, we’re finalising the last bits of admin with junior parkrun and Liverpool Council to re-start our event in Stanley Park!
We’ll keep you posted on our progress and fingers crossed we can start soon!
