I’m looking forward to seeing if JP can take advantage of the opportunity. Play fast, finish checks, get north! #NJDevils

[Anthony Corona @ACoronaNJD]

Sheldon Keefe on what a successful night would look like for Jesper Boqvist:

"Speed onto the puck, great puck pressure, forechecking, tracking and those kinds of things, and then some offensive pace as well. Whether that comes off the rush or by getting to the net front off the puck.

I’m excited to watch him today. He had a good practice yesterday and a good morning skate today. For that line to continue to grow is an important factor for us." #NJDevils

Mike Rupp is calling his shot! 👀

(it's his BOLD take)

Could Jesper Bratt hit the 100-point mark this season?

The Tri-State Hockey crew debates just how realistic it is for the #NJDevils star.

@DaveyUpper Loved it!

[Mike Rupp @Rupper17]

Rough night for #NJDevils … When a skilled team isn’t crisp, things can turn quickly. Puck management was an issue. It happens, I care more about what they do about it against #Tusksup on Tuesday.

[Mike Rupp @Rupper17]

@R_Carpiniello But not impossible, eh Rick? 😉

[Mike Rupp @Rupper17]

Pay attention to Luke… He will be top 3 Dman in East in the next 2 years.

Quick takeaways from the #NJDevils win last night

- Luke Hughes was a beast (24:16 toi, 1 G, 5 SOG, 81.6% 5v5 on-ice xG), buzzing around the ice all game
- Evan Rodrigues was dominant in the dot (66.7% FO)
- Mercer/Grits/ERod led the 4 lines in 5v5 TOI (10:55, 1 second more than Nico's line)
- Rush Scoring Chances were 17-2 in favor of NJ
- Even though the PP went 0/4 I thought the puck movement and zone entries looked really good
- 41-22 SOG advantage, 4.33-1.76 xG advantage. Dominant performance
