Years 5 and 6 have enjoyed our session with Dean Cody. We discussed R.U.D.E (Respect Understanding Danger & Equality) workshops - how we can keep ourselves safe and aspire to brilliant things. We are not rude, we are R.U.D.E!

Year 6 have started learning all about World War II this afternoon. We discussed what The Blitz was and how this impacted Britain. We looked at some primary sources of pictures and videos from the events that took place. @TeamRushbrook@BrightFuturesET#wearebrightfutures
Year 6 have had a brilliant visit to Crucial Crew this week. We discussed many important topics to keep ourselves safe in different situations. We also learnt about key adults who can help us if we need it, like police, security and emergency responders.
Year 6 have had a great session with Michael Thame, a brilliant author with books all about World War II. We looked at images of Liverpool during the war and completed our own evacuation ticket. We will definitely be reading βSpies, Lies and Dangerous Skiesβ. π
