INDIA IN A STATE OF UNDECLARED EMERGENCY...
Yesterday when I posted a message appealing for unity & peace in today's protest I had never imagined that the biggest democracy in the world would be under an undeclared EMERGENCY.
I was happy there were so many leaders to lead the movement, but I now learn that they have all been arrested. I hope those arrested will be released soon. I will be compelled to consider an Anshan Fast or Padyatra March if they are not released by tomorrow.

What if every street corner becomes a Jantar Mantar? What will Modi do then to save Gyanesh?
By NOT allowing peaceful protests at a designed spot - is the BJP Govt pushing the nation towards more unrest and chaos??

UPDATE:

I am in detention. The movement is not.

People are assembling at SAFDARJUNG FLYOVER right now. If you can, reach.

If you are stopped, sit down where you are and hold the line.

[Mallikarjun Kharge @kharge]

Our youth, students, lawyers, journalists, social activists, farm union leaders, You Tubers, content creators, everyone who is questioning this regime are being detained.

Modi Govt has turned the “Mother of Democracy” into a ‘Muzzled Democracy’!

The cowardice of the BJP-RSS is on full display today.

Detentions, arrests, jails, lathis and pellets cannot deter the people of India. Since the days of our Freedom struggle, the youth have been at the forefront of shaping the nation’s destiny.

The Congress Party, along with the united Opposition, will fight this tyrannical regime, tooth and nail.

We shed our blood to win India’s freedom. We will continue to fight, with every ounce of our strength, to defend our Democracy, our Constitution and the fundamental rights of every Indian.
