Crossing my fingers we get to see another iceberg like this soon. This massive iceberg found its way to Ferryland Newfoundland. It was in this spot for weeks. This is one of my favourite images of that time as @RushLynch posed for me to help show the scale.
BREAKING!
In a late night agreement #BillC224 - An Act to establish a national framework for the prevention and treatment of cancers linked to firefighting - has passed 3rd Reading in the Senate unamended and will become law! Royal Assent will occur in the coming days. Congratulations to all who worked so hard on this bill - in particular our firefighters and their representatives. As Senate critic and supporter of this bill, I have said this many times: firefighters are always there for us and now we must be there for them.

The day the iceberg at Cape St. Francis paid us a visit was windy, wet and plenty of waves. Here is @RushLynch checking out a big wave smashing against the iceberg. Even though it was a cold wet day it was a blast watching Mother Nature batter this ice berg.

Viewing the massive Ferryland Iceberg. @RushLynch was kind enough to pose for me on the dock looking toward the iceberg. Having a person in the photo can give you an idea how big this berg is. Even this photo does not do it justice. The iceberg is close to 3kms away from the dock which means this thing is massive!
