National Pumpkin Day recognizes a favored autumn decoration and food on October 26th. Not only do they make great fall decorations, but the pumpkin also completes a variety of tasty recipes. Do you have a recipe to share?

1. Ensure car seat is installed correctly.
2. Remove all items from crib.
3. Always place babies on their backs to sleep.
4. Protect them from second hand smoke.
5. Installed safety latches on cabinets and doors.

World Humanitarian Day is celebrated on August 19th in recognition of Humanitarian personnel across the world and those who have lost their lives for humanitarian causes. We can all share the humanitarian spirit by simply volunteering our time to support the welfare of others.
National Nonprofit Day is observed on August 17th to recognize non-profit organizations’ ongoing efforts to serve the local community. Today we celebrate ALL non-profit organizations and say thank you for helping shape our society and providing hope for a brighter future.

August 12 we observe International Youth Day. It is imperative that we educate, support, celebrate and uplift our young people. They are an important part of society and are the new generation to implement change and progress.

2. No one should ask me to keep a secret.
3. We do not look, touch or play games with private parts.
4. Use correct words for private parts.
5. I know 5 people that I can talk to if an issue arises.
