@BradKlibansky They will hopefully do the right thing and move Mabs on, and bring Calsher into that position. His effort is just not there and does not deserve a spot when output is low from lack of effort.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@thethirstyhawk Add Lohmann's 2 free kick 1 when Impey got rid of it correctly and from Hardwick in a contest that cost goals also, they had an appalling night when are they going to hold umpires to a higher standard. All of these examples should be used in defense of Sis and Barass

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@TimGossage Maybe punching guys in the guts behind play when they are not watching is why.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@AFLTheNestHQ Your posts are not finished you need to.let Greg Swann know that those umpires were horrendous tonight at least 5 dubious free kicks cost us goals not including the Jars one under the spotlight those umpires were poor and need to be dropped for any future finals

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@HawkTalkPod @hawthornzone We also need to appeal hard against the fines to Sis and Barass after that horrendous umpiring display as absolutely they should have questioned how much they were paid by the Lions, it ruined a great game. There needs to be accountability taken by the AFL when umpiring is bad

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@HawkTalkPod @hawthornzone Who at HawthornFC is going to officially lodge a complaint to Greg Swan about the standard of umpiring Kai Lohmann had 2 goals given to him for incorrectly paid free kicks, Lewis's deliberate out and Zorko head high were not there and changed that result.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@HawthornFC We also need to ask a please explain of the AFL for how you can tick off all decisions that I mentioned in the previous post and appeal the fines for Sis and Tom, ofcourse they were upset that was the worst umpiring performance of the year by far

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@HawthornFC Please advise who is responsible for launching an official review of the standard of umpiring last night, this is not about the last call this is about the free kicks to Zorko, Lohmann twice, against Mitch Lewis and others that halted momentum and changed the result.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@Quartermain10 @HawthornFC Agree Quarters but the coaching needs to be questioned players in the mid field aside from Nuke are not up to big games particularly Daisy who was sat on the pine for 40% of the game that spot should have gone to Connor Nash or another big bodied mid fielder we were too timid.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@BradKlibansky Also where is the hard edge in our midfield Sam Mitchell was one of the hardest nuts in it and he puts wallflowers in there we need Connor Nash back in and Croc dropped he was terrible tonight.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@BradKlibansky Will Day is not up to the rigors of AFL football he was sat on the pine for 40% of game time, the umpiring was horrendous tonight and Jars copped it twice where is the prior opportunity he was immediately tackled

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@BradKlibansky Hey Brad, what are your genuine thoughts on were the Hawks are at? This back half of the year has been very disappointing where is the hard edge we once used to be feared for. They are playing bruise free football and we so need Connor Nash back in the middle to bang in.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@FOXFOOTY Not even close to a free kick or a 50mtr penalty they got paid well by the Pies yesterday, Ginni non free kick for being held back Mcreery pushing Macca into the umpires and countless other frees not given, when is the AFL going to call these appalling decisions out

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@FOXFOOTY @RalphyHeraldSun The umpiring was poor last night the free kick against Sis and the resultant fifty against Barass would not have been there if they did their job and adjuducated properly. The non free kick on Ginni when he was held back resulted in another goal and there is the ball game.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@FOXFOOTY Why do they keep rewarding mediocrity, the Top 8 works well ans every team is trying to get into it, the teams that finish 9 and 10 would not really be happy themselves survey the fans and the players b4 making changes like this

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@BradKlibansky Great analysis Brad completely agree the midfield needs improvement, I like who we have but need another jet and bull like Nuke and Nashy to compliment Daysy.

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@thefrontbar7 I hope Hughesy is not watching tonight 🤣🤣

[Russell Spurrell @RussellSpurrell]

@HawthornFC This is Russell a former member who is turning 50 today. He would love a shout out from the coach and a few of the players today. He is a mad keen Hawker..
