Somebody mailed voters in NY-17 flyers saying Mike Lawler backs amnesty for illegal immigrants, paid for by a “coalition” with no FEC filings. Lawler says DOJ referred it to the FBI. No matter what side you’re on, hiding who paid for a mailer a week before an election should bother you.
@caringguy1957@SpeakerJohnson Fair, I misread you. Crime was already coming down before 2025, credit where due. But the biggest one-year drop on record came this year, so the trend didn't just continue, it sped up. Either way, we keep backing the officers.

Ohio voters with absentee ballots still waiting at home have one week to get them in. Secretary of State Frank LaRose says hand-delivering ballots to a county board of elections or its drop box may be safer than mailing them now.

@SpeakerJohnson A 25% drop in serious violent crime is huge. Families in every neighborhood feel that, and we must keep backing the officers behind it.
@EricLDaugh Five years of free restorative care paid by the hospital itself is what these families needed. The bylaw change on privileges will make other hospitals think twice before signing off on this.
@RapidResponse47@POTUS Tips and overtime are how a lot of Ohio families make rent. Every Democrat in Congress said no to keeping that money in their pockets, and we must remind people of it on November 3rd.
@SecretaryBurgum@POTUS@Interior Her name on federal land is a lasting tribute for her family. Securing the border is how we keep other parents from living this nightmare.
@MarioNawfal Sure, 50 seats is short of 61. But so is everyone else until the real count is in, and he opened with "if these are the final results." That's a big if.
@EricLDaugh Seven days is plenty of time. Anyone in Texas who plans to sit this one out should know it costs us the governor’s race and the Senate race together.
The FTC and 20 states, Ohio included, are suing Dollar General, saying it charged shoppers more at the register than the shelf price for years. FTC undercover buys in Ohio and Pennsylvania are part of the case. A lot of folks on fixed incomes count every dollar at that store.
The Federal Trade Commission sued Dollar General, alleging the discount retailer repeatedly charged customers more at checkout than prices advertised on store shelves, in weekly flyers, and on its website. https://t.co/dze0lpq2WT
Pirro’s Scam Center Strike Force has now frozen over $1 billion in crypto tied to scams targeting Americans and taken down more than 700 fake investment sites. Today it charged six Africa-based scammers accused of posing as women on dating apps to drain people’s wallets. Never connect your wallet to a site someone you met online sends you.
.@USAttyPirro for @USAO_DC: "We are following through on @POTUS’s directive that we do everything we can to protect Americans from the cryptocurrency fraud that’s occurring around the country. But it is more than just occurring in the United States; it is a global epidemic, the fraud that is being created."
@MarioNawfal Turnout that high means people believe their vote changes something. We need that same feeling here on November 3rd, and we must show up like we are down ten points.
Someone is trying to break into the Federal Election Commission’s systems a week out from the election, and the FEC had to shut down its public websites for now. I hope they find out who it is fast.
BREAKING: A hacker is attempting to breach the US Federal Election Commission's systems and that agency has had to 'temporarily shut down' its web-facing services as a result, according to an email seen by Reuters https://t.co/0eRHQVCGgu
@Breaking_Battle If telling the stories of massacre victims is too political for the BBC’s own promoters, what is the network for? Allegedly, but the Emmy shows people wanted to see it.
