After his brother Kolby hit a home run in his last at bat for Georgia, Kyle Branch homers in his final at bat in Omaha for Oklahoma. You gotta love baseball
A bad outing doesn’t define you. Your response to it does.
One of the biggest mistakes pitchers make after a rough start is abandoning the process that got them there in the first place.
When the game ends, be consistent. Support your teammates. Stay engaged. One performance doesn’t change who you are as a competitor or teammate.
The following week is where real development happens. Be strategic with your work. Chasing “extra reps” because you’re frustrated often creates more problems than it solves. Throwing volume, recovery, strength training, mobility, and skill work all need to stay balanced. Don’t let emotion drive your workload.
Control what you can control.
A poor outing creates emotion. That’s normal. What separates great pitchers is their ability to manage those emotions and continue executing the plan. Don’t allow one bad day to derail weeks or months of progress.
Most importantly, keep your routines intact.
The athletes who bounce back the fastest are the ones who remain committed to their preparation, recovery, and development process. Consistency creates confidence. Confidence creates performance.
Don’t let one bad outing become two.
Stay disciplined. Stay objective. Trust the process.

At some point in life, we all look back and wish we could change or redo something. I would go back at least 6 years and do "Me" better. They say it takes 6 months of dedication to make personal changes. I hope I have that much time.

Championships aren't built only on talent. They're built on trust, accountability, humility, and a commitment to something bigger than yourself.
This moment happened before every game, regardless of the opponent or the stakes.
One team. One purpose.
